We would like to show the latest addition to our senior center, a garden for our seniors to grow in! We worked on the back of the center next to the dining room and started a garden for our seniors to plant fruits and vegetables here where they may not be able to at home. We planted a lot this week from blackberries, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries to lettuce, bell peppers, broccoli, and more! We all really enjoyed starting our garden, and we absolutely can't wait to see it grow with more plants in the future! The seniors didn't just come to work though, they ended up getting the sweet end of the deal by finishing off their gardening with chocolate covered strawberries!
